I was so excited to see my Panda Hand Puppets sewing pattern in the latest issue of Australian Homespun magazine. Projects have to be submitted 6 months in advance so by the time the magazine hits the shelves you’ve almost forgotten you’re in it!
Over-excitable as EVER, I couldn’t resist buying a copy in the store even though I subscribe to the magazine PLUS you get sent a copy if you are in the magazine. It was just such a colourful jam-packed issue – who could blame me?
The glorious front cover giraffe sucked me in….
AND there are so many yummy projects besides my little PandaPuppets!
The awesome giraffe bedspread from the cover was designed by Natasha Curtin.
I think it would look amazing in any little boy’s or girl’s room… or doubled up it could even be made into an adult-sized cover for ME????
I loved the colourful Pinterest feature on Twinkie Chan. She’s a crochet pattern designer who makes food shaped scarves –
how cool are these scarves?
The colourful projects continue with these bright and cheerful Felt Crowns…
designed by the lovely Sarah Hanson of Dolls & Daydreams.
This is the block of the month… don’t you LOVE the cute snail amongst the fruits and leaves? 😀
This quilt is designed by Monica Poole and is called the Happiness Quilt. Even though I am NOT a quilter I simply LOVE the colours and shapes of this quilt – as As the name says – it just makes me happy when I look at it! 😀
It is a real honour to be included in such a fun magazine with all these talented gals…. still I don’t really think I need 3 copies of the magazine!!!!
Do you subscribe to Homespun or would you like to win one of my extra copies?
. .
Till next time…
Happy Sewing,
Pauline
