Name needed for the NEXT Funky Friends Factory Toy Pattern!

Nov 22, 2021 | Blog, Competitions & Giveaways, NEW Toy Patterns

Yeehar ~ it’s time for a sneak peek of my NEXT toy pattern!

I’m going to reveal JUST ENOUGH for you to get an idea of how the wolf toy pattern is turning out ~>

BUT please don’t get too excited…

Wolf-prototypes-teaser1

So far I’m onto

wolf prototype No 6

& there are gonna be

lots more!?%*#!!

Wolf-prototypes-teaser

It’s funny how certain toy-pattern designs come to me so EASILY and others, well, let’s just say it’s a bit like pulling teeth… well in Wolfie’s case… pulling legs! 😀

I’d better explain!

I finally got the front legs to LOOK how I wanted BUT they didn’t “sit and stay” as I wanted them too  – they flopped UP and stuck there TUCKED UNDER HIS CHIN – in a perfect “Thinker’s” position!

Which might be great for
a bronze statue…

Copyright credit: Rodin Museum in Paris

So while I work on Wolfie’s legs… I thought, why don’t we have a naming competition for him! (I can’t call him Wolfie right?)

Wolf naming Competition details!

Alright…. It can be a boy name, girl name or unisex name…

BUT it must
start with the letter ‘W”.

names beginning with 'W'

Please leave me a comment below with your name suggestions for the NEW Wolf toy pattern.

If YOU suggest the name that gets selected you will win the pattern!*

*WHEN it is finally released!!!!!!!!

I can’t wait to hear your name suggestions!

Pauline McArthur
Till next time, happy sewing,

Pauline

Whalen is an English name, derived from ‘Whelan’, the Anglicised version of the Celtic name ‘O’Faolan’, which means ‘descendant of Faolan’. The name Faolan itself means ‘little wolf’ in Gaelic.

*Wolfie* is simple and sweet! A name that children can relate to and say. I first thought Wolfgang or Wurlitzer, but as I read through this list, how many could a small child actually say? As the creator, you can follow your heart and name it whatever you choose * Wolfie* will be hard to top!!
