I got so excited when I started getting facebook comments and emails to say that my little Lamkins Lamb toy pattern design was on the FRONT PAGE of the Joann.com website as part of their promo for their new season fleece fabrics!

Then I started getting lots of CONCERNED emails asking , ” Is this YOUR Lamkins?” because most people don’t realise Joann DOES sell MY pattern! (It’s the version that Simplicity have licensed from me – Simplicity 2921.)

Hmmmmm, That made me think…

It would have been nice if they had let people know that they can get the version of MY Lamkins design through Joann… if you think about it, they’re using him to promote their fleece after all…. AND besides, Lamkins is GREAT MADE IN FLEECE! ha!ha! ) Joann has used Lamkins like this in the past WITH the pattern number ( Simplicity 2921 ) so I guessed it was just a slip?

So… I just got up at 3am (Australia time) to phone Joann at a time they would be open, American time, and unfortunately, I got an answering machine2 nights in a row!

Finally on day 3 (GREAT NEWS!!!) I have had a super response from Joann!

I have just got a wonderful email from the Joannn customer service manager, Annette, who advised me that they are working to fix the link for my Lamkins Lamb Pattern  on their website as soon as possible today and in the  meantime… they have let their customer service team know what the the pattern number is so they can tell customers who make an inquiry!

I have to say I am very pleased and impressed with their response! What superb customer service! So it was well worth getting up in the middle of the night to leave a message on their answering machine! : )

So signing off from a tired, but very excited toy-designer!!!
