2014 was such a wonderful year..
and it’s all thanks to you!
Your amazing feedback photos are a daily inspiration for me to work harder and design more exciting, NEW toy sewing patterns for you!
In 2014 we were joined by…
Shelby the NO SOCK Sock Monkey which is a really easy sewing pattern for a cute sock monkey that doesn’t require any SOCKS!
You can read more about why I made a NO SOCK version
of this traditional sock toy in this blog post.
Next came Lily the Ladybug Sewing Pattern. Lily is a sweet little bug that looks great in all sorts of colours…
NOT just ‘normal’ red and black!
Next came some naughty puppy dogs – my Butch and Bella Bulldog Sewing Pattern. Butch is the boisterous British Bulldog and Bella is the sassy little French bulldog he met at the dog show in Paris.
Don’t they make a cute pair?
Then I designed some MORE Kawaii Kuties animal doll patterns (my easy patterns for children and beginner sewists!) This time I created a pattern For a Kawaii CAT and a Kawaii DOG.
I added a cute little pet jacket to the sewing pattern!
Next came a new doll sewing pattern. I tried to make her scary but my Whitney Witch Doll Sewing Pattern turned out too cute!!! 😀
and she’s scared of the dark!
I had a puppet sewing pattern published in Homespun Magazine. I designed a cute family of pandas and all their felt accessories –
what fun!
I had another toy sewing pattern published in Love Sewing magazine. This time I was to design a traditional soft toy sewing pattern for a hobby horse. I had so much fun designing and making the hobby horse…
I had to make TWO!
*** I cannot release the pattern for 6 months,
so make sure you have signed up for my Funky Friends Factory newsletter (see the sign up box on my website home page) so you’ll find out when it’s released!***
And last but not least,
I designed a free Christmas sewing pattern. This year I created a pattern to make Christmas hats for ALL the Funky Friends toys. I had so much fun sewing them that I have added to the pattern and included sizing the pattern for kiddies, teenagers/small adults as well as a large adult size.
so there’s a size to fit everyone!
If you didn’t get the pattern at Christmas time,
don’t worry you can still get it for free here
I’ve got BIG things lined up for 2015!
I’m planning on working on LOTS of new pattern designs this year, as well as lots of toy-making blog posts, newsletter tips and tricks and special offers for my newsletter subscribers, so here’s to an exciting 2015 and as the saying goes…
WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
🙂
I wonder which 2014 toy pattern is YOUR favourite?
. .
Till next time…
Happy Sewing,
Pauline

Definitely the bulldog and also the ladybug though I haven’t got that pattern yet.
Looking forward to all your new patterns in 2015!
I’m gonna have to go with the giant hobby horses, because they look like SO much fun to make! 😀 I can’t wait until you can release the pattern!
I found you in 2014 so all your patterns were new to me and my favourite is Kitty Kate, I adore her
I love them all but Diggles (who I already own) is my favourite. The favourite out of the odd few I don’t own has to be the frog with the crown. 🙂
Oh oh oh they are all so fun. I still love Cheeky Chook the BEST of all. Of the 2014 additions liking the easy sew for learners, kawaii kitty. Enjoy your patterns very much.
The BULLDOGGY was my favorite! I remember the first sneak peek you posted, I was then constantly checking your page hourly, to see if you had posted any updates on him. Hahaha!
The BULLDOG has to be my favorite. I thought he was going to be difficult to put together but with your tutorial you made it very easy to follow and make the bulldog. I love all your patterns.
The bulldog is my favorite 2014 pattern but I love all of your ideas!
I love randy the rhino and can’t wait to try other patterns
so loving the bulldog!
