My NEW Hedgehog stuffed animal toy pattern needs a NAME!

Jan 30, 2015 | A day in my life, Blog

I have been mulling over my hedgehog stuffed toy pattern design for ages. I have never seen a real live hedgehog so I had to rely on Google images… and from those, they’re pretty darn cute!

hedgehog adorable

With something THAT cute, I was really worried I wasn’t going to be able to get enough CUTENESS in my design! I hope you think I succeeded in the cute-department???

Once the toy design is done, the prototype toy sewn and the pattern drawn, it’s time for the most fun BUT hardest part of the toy pattern design process – CHOOSING a name! I have 3 baby names books  BUT I’m just not feeling it!!!

Baby names books

Soooooo, I thought I’d run a competition to ask for suggestions. There’s ONLY one rule – the name MUST start with the letter ‘H’.

Want to win a free Hedgehog Pattern?

It’s easy, just leave me a comment below to let me know what you think the Hedgehog’s name should be. Anyone who suggest the name that I end up calling my Hedgehog will win a copy of the pattern when it is released next week!!!! oooh, I can’t wait!

NOW, I’m looking forward to your name suggestions!

Hello! Your hedgehog is adorable!!! Because (s/he) is so adorable and looks very happy, I think your Hedgehog should be named Happy Henetta (Hen-net-a)or just Henetta for short. Still, Henetta Hedgehog.

Ok, good luck and have fun choosing a name!
    Thank you for sharing!
