FREE Teddy Bear Pattern – an easy sewing project for beginners!

Sep 24, 2014 | Blog, Competitions & Giveaways

I made Honey Teddy Bear my FREE sewing pattern ESPECIALLY for beginners to learn how to sew soft toys. So it’s lovely to hear feedback like this message from Susan…

Honey Teddy Bear

Susan S

I just wanted to thank you for the free honey bear pattern. I am a total beginner to sewing and can barely sew a straight line but for the past two evenings I have tried really hard and made Honey! Her head is a bit ‘wonky’ and legs are slightly different sizes but I think she is beautiful!!!!!! Not bad for a first attempt at all……

I think her
Honey teddy bear
is adorable! 😀

Honey Teddy Bear is NOT my easiest sewing pattern BUT I chose her as my FREE pattern gift for my newsletter subscribers because she is a great first stuffed animal toy project to teach you EVERYTHING you need to know to sew a GORGEOUS first soft toy!

@Susan S I agree too! She is lovely but my head turned out really twisted and I took apart the head and I am planning to start the head again.

I have requested the Honey Bear pattern several times but the final email from you never arrives in my inbox. After my astonishment with your animals (several made up in a fabric store in Soldotna, AK),
I began to craft them and visited your site for the first time. This year for 2023 Christmas I have completed two cats, one fox, a moose and I’m now finishing my second horse. They are all beautiful especially after I finally realized that you had a tutorial online for each.
